Katie is extremely passionate in her beliefs and interests. She enjoys interacting with and helping people. She has always gravitated towards experiences and jobs that enable her to help and be around people. She loves being around people who share a similar vision of the world and what it can be. She loves to have passionate and intellectual conversation with people open to deeper understandings and connections.

She currently provides therapy to Homeless and Combat Veterans and their families and she loves what she does because she understands these women and men on many levels. She is excited about a new opportunity to provide couples communication skills classes at Veterans Village of San Diego utilizing knowledge and interventions from the PAIRS Foundation: Redefining Relationships. She currently incorporates music into her individual and group therapy dynamics and would love to connect with others who like using creative approaches in therapy and treatment planning.

She looks forward to landing a job with a new agency or company in the field of mental health, counseling, education, or non-profit expanding her knowledge base and experience working with children, Military/Veterans and their families, and in other settings offering innovative approaches to therapy with a focus on life balance. Please contact her if you have any ideas, leads or points of contact to share. She looks forward to connecting with and collaborating with others!
